More catching up...

Next to the cemetery is an old plantation with a large house from the 1700's and a bunch of peacocks who are friendly and like to be fed.  Ava loves our trips to see the peacocks...they really are pretty cool to see up close.

then we went back to Nans

a tired meltdown

Easter...

It was a time for family and a time for remembrance.  Our Poppie had only been gone a few short days and life was still very surreal.  We had not even had his funeral and therefore were all struggling to really believe that he was gone.  However his love shone bright that day because you see, Pop was amazing.  Pop had asked that certain things be done for his loved ones.  Thanks Pop for being so kind and thoughtful.

Forever watching over us....
