Practice makes perfect...

Ava's invitations are in and this week I made a cake for Nan's birthday to practice my newly acquired (attempted) fondant skills.  I figured I might as well try it and to my surprise it all turned out.  I will be doing a few things differently for Ava's birthday cake but at least I'm confident now that I can do it.

 

This morning my little sleepy girl laid on the couch while I tried to catch one of the hummingbirds at the feeder.  I couldn't get too close or they wouldn't come.
